Terms & Conditions

ENROLMENT

To secure a place at CHHC, our booking and behaviour forms must be completed and returned to the School office together with appropriate remittance.  Enrolment and Health forms must also be completed for children who are not Castle House pupils.

Your child’s place in CHHC is confirmed when we write to you with the confirmation of a place.  The contract is complete when you acknowledge receipt of our confirmation of a place.

In the event that we are unable to offer you a place, we will return to you all monies you have paid.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Sessions must be booked and paid for in full at least one week in advance.  Last minute hours can only be booked if staffing is available and may be subject to a £1 per hour surcharge.

Fees are not refundable for absence, as CHHC continues to incur the same costs.

OPENING HOURS

CHHC is open from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.  No child may enter CHHC or any part of the School before 8.00 am.  CHHC will not open on Bank or Public Holidays and certain other associated days as advised.

Children may not arrive earlier than the start time of their booked session.  In the event of early arrival or late departure, parents will be charged extra at the hourly rate, except for late pick-up after 6.00 pm which will be charged at the rate of £3 per ten minutes.  If parents bring a child after their agreed start time, they are not thereby entitled to collect them later than their agreed finished time.

If children arrive early or are picked up late regularly, we will terminate their membership of CHHC.

AGES

No child will be admitted to Holiday Care prior to their second birthday or other than in exceptional circumstances after their twelfth birthday.

CLOTHING

Children should dress in comfortable, sensible clothes in which they feel relaxed without anxiety about spoiling.  They should bring additional layers to put on/take off, including coats/fleeces in colder periods, cagoules/rainwear, sunhats/suncream and changes of footwear (eg trainers/sandals/Wellingtons).  Clothing and personal possessions should be labelled.  Castle House School cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged clothing and artefacts.

FOOD AND DRINK

Children should bring a packed lunch, tea, morning snack and drinks in a clearly named container.

VALUABLES

Children are not permitted to bring valuables to CHHC.

CONFECTIONERY

Children are not permitted to bring sweets, chocolates, chewing gum, fizzy drinks or other consumables with a high content of chemical additives to CHHC.
