Welcome to Haberdashers' Castle House School An independent day school for children to 11 years Welcome Choosing the right school to lay the foundations for learning is one of the biggest challenges any parent will face. As Head I understand that alongside practical choices there are also decisions of the heart. My amazing team and I are here to help you make the right decisions for your children. I am so proud of all in our community, whether children, staff or parents. I look forward to welcoming you to our Haberdashers' Castle House, whether you are a parent at the start of your nursery journey, a family looking for something different part way through education, or even a past pupil returning to see what has changed. Our doors are open to all. Our teachers offer rich and exciting experiences with regular trips, visitors and plenty of opportunities for outdoor learning, hands on investigation and problem solving. Pupils continue to build upon and benefit from the specialist teaching lessons introduced earlier on in school life. Your Children will become far more independent in Years 3 & 4. They become less involved with a singular teacher in order to take advantage of our specialist educators - particularly in core subjects and senior school entrance preparations. We understand that this can sometimes be the stage at which you may question the progress your child has made at their current school. We are always very happy to meet and discuss your concerns and see if we can help. Upper school fees - £4,085 per term, £12,255 annually. Monthly payment plans available on request. Anchor 5 Anchor 2 YEAR 5-6 The Senior years (Years 5-6) at Haberdashers' Castle House are designed to build independence and academic readiness as students prepare for senior school. In this key stage, students transition to a learning environment where they work with a broader range of specialist educators, particularly in core subjects, to ensure they’re well-prepared for the challenges and expectations of senior school. At Haberdashers' Castle House, we recognize that this stage can bring up questions regarding your child’s progress and preparedness for what lies ahead. We welcome discussions with parents who may have concerns and invite you to meet with our staff to explore how we can best support your child’s journey. Upper school fees - £4,355 per term, £13,065 annually. Monthly payment plans available on request.

- SPORT | Castle House School
Sport for All Children have PE and sports opportunities every day Our PE and Games programme teaches the children fitness and skills in many aspects of sport. The aim is to give them at least a taste of as many sports activities as possible, to prepare them for whatever they might take up at senior school. In a week most children will have two lessons of PE, one of Games and one of Swimming (in a heated indoor pool) with our own specialist teachers. In addition, there are after-school sports clubs and various school team practices. Children regularly win badges, certificates and awards in many sports. Teams regularly compete against other schools and take part in regional and national competitions organized by the Independent Schools’ Association. They are taught to be sporting, fair and gracious, whether they win or lose. Football, netball, cricket, tag-rugby and rounders are the main team games played. The school regularly enters teams in cross-country, chess, swimming and gymnastics competitions and has had a great deal of success. Other sports enjoyed by the children at school include athletics, badminton, hockey and tennis. The school currently has a particular strength in schools’ gymnastics and has won many competitions.
